What the Approved Directory Actually Is
The Approved Directory is a growing collection of local businesses reviewed against a standard built specifically around what matters most to adults 55 and older — clear communication, accessible service, transparent pricing, and staff who treat you like a whole person, not a transaction.
It isn't a paid ad placement, and it isn't a popularity contest. A business earns its place in the directory only after a trained PrimeSpan reviewer confirms it meets our standard — not the other way around.

Why We're Starting Small, On Purpose
We could have launched with a long list of businesses on day one. We chose not to.
Every business in the Approved Directory goes through the same review before we'll put our name behind them, and a second staff reviewer signs off on every decision. That takes time to do right, so we're opening today with a small, carefully chosen set of categories, and we'll add newly Approved businesses one at a time as each one completes the process. We'd rather grow slowly and stay honest about what "Approved" means than rush to fill a page.
